Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Taxolve app and website. By creating an account or using Taxolve, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Taxolve lets you scan or upload receipts, uses AI to extract their details, organises them by category, and lets you export them to a spreadsheet. Features may change or improve over time.
Your account
You need an account to use Taxolve. You're responsible for keeping access to your email and device secure, and for the activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
Acceptable use
- Use Taxolve only for your own lawful receipt and expense records.
- Don't upload content you don't have the right to, or anything unlawful.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload or abuse the service or its AI features.
Plans & billing
Taxolve may offer free and paid plans. Any paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store under Apple's terms; prices, billing periods and any free trial are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Not tax advice
Taxolve is an organisation tool. It helps you keep and export receipts, but it does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and any deduction or "estimated tax benefit" figures are estimates only. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for your own tax filings — please consult a qualified professional.
Your content
Your receipts and data remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process and display them so we can provide the service (including sending receipt text or images to our AI provider for extraction, as described in our Privacy Policy).
Availability & disclaimers
We work hard to keep Taxolve reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI extraction may occasionally be inaccurate — always review details before saving or exporting. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taxolve is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on extracted data or exports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Taxolve and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
